Make sure to get double room with a 530am wake up with a bullhorn, views of the Pacific plus free breakfast...

Atmosphere and location top
Too impersonal and too big and therefore anonymous. The staff isn't very cordial, whether it's a yoga teacher or a pool boy.

The location is great.
We had reserved a room for 4 people. Because of a mistake at Moana Surfrider we had to be in 2 rooms, very far away. No one apologized.

The very nice location makes this place a prime spot, with the beach views from the room being particularly fine. The rooms are rather small for the price, and the beach tends to get crowded. Customer service was noticeably lacking, with few friendly greetings from staff .

Exceptionally comfortable bed in double room with a storage space and coffee. Fantastic, stunning location to the original tower erected 1901. And close to Right on the beach, and the oceanside and famous restaurant.

Just a beautifuln old hotel. Loved the location and the look and feel
Waiting for car... it is something you have to do at any hotel of that size and level..expected just not something I personally like to deal with. The valet staff were wonderful, so very friendly and very helpful. Very professional.

The restaurant here was EXCEPTIONAL with a lovely view of the beach and ocean, we both ordered delicious dishes. The bedroom was comfortable, and the bed was very comfy.
The breakfast itself was messy, can be much better.

The spa treatments like the full body massage and sauna were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just wish the soundproofing in the room was a bit better, but it didn't take away from the amazing experience 🌴

Not much.... great location with lousy attitude & inadequate facilities for number of guests...24 beach chairs for over 1200 guest...i chance in a 50 to get a chair...we never did! Bar food terrible & over priced. Great old building made into an accountants idea of cost cutting to the bone....neber again in fact that is it for Westin..theyvare scrooges!

We had a wonderful family experience, enjoying the beachfront access and trying stand-up paddleboarding right outside the resort. The historic charm of the hotel combined with large rooms, particularly for the grandkids who loved the pool activities.
In my wife's opinion, dining options were pricey and service could improve during busy hours.

The staff's hospitality. The location offers great beach access and easy walks to local shops. The atmosphere was inviting, especially with the iconic banyan tree 🌴

Excellent location. History of the Surfrider. Staff very helpful and friendly. Second stay within a year.
Not all guests would benefit from the $25.00 resort daily charge; however, for families with children it would be of value. Food is average at the beach bar.
